Tower of Strength: The Art and Craft of Origami
When Andrew was in school, he and three friends found a book in the library. It was a book about Origami – the Japanese art of paper-folding. There were hardly any written instructions but there were lots of diagrams. The four friends tried to make the models in the diagrams. Some were easy, some were very difficult. They would share their ideas until they were successful. Sometimes it took a few minutes to figure things out but sometimes it took weeks before they were able to understand the diagrams and finish the models. It took Andrew and his friend over a year to work out ‘The Jackstone’.
Your team has a set of instruction diagrams to make an Origami castle tower. You will need 3 identical boxes - one for each member of your team - and 1 pyramid between you. Each team member will decorate 1 box. It will show their name and at least one ‘strength’.
